Yep it does say Everybody Edits 1.0… did I get your attention?
Today I am happy to announce that the development run to get Everybody Edits ready for the first official release has just started. Over the next few months our beta members can look forward to a lot of new features, updates and changes.
Sadly this also means that we will have to split the free and beta games into two separate games during this process.
Q: So what will be in Everybody Edits 1.0?
A: That’s still a secret, but we will soon create an Everybody Edits 1.0 feature site
In other news, I have not been around to open postcards for a while as I have been in London on half business half vacation. I shall start awarding Ultimate Fan Smilies again tomorrow!

Will Kongregate Pro members get a taste of whats coming too?
This. Seriously though, Chris, you seem to have somewhat of a tendency to give your Kongregate users the short end of the stick. It took you months to give us an equivalent to Beta, and I’m still not sure if it’s supposed to be an exact equivalent. I really don’t understand why, seeing as we support you just as much as the members on your site, actually more when you consider that you get ad revenue every time we load up your game. So, you at least owe it to us Kongregate players to make Pro have every single thing that Beta gets, and if you still won’t do that on Kongregate, then at the very least let us log in with our Kongregate accounts on your website so we can access the features that we payed for.
It’s not technically possible to let Kongregate users login on the beta site. Kongregates auth scheme does not support something like this… Trust me I would if I could.
This is also why on Kongregate the package is called Kongregate pro and not Beta. People that play on Kongregate cannot be beta members!
So….does that mean that we don’t get to test this stuff?
Chris…why won’t you tell us whether or not Kongregate Pro users will be able to access the new features you’re going to add? This is only making me more worried that we can’t. The only other reason I can think of is that you’re not sure, and you don’t want to give an answer until you know whether or not it’s possible for us to have it. Also, just to clarify, there’s no possible way for a Kongregate Pro user to have their account transferred into a real Beta account and keep all of the items they have unlocked, correct?
The new features will eventually be moved to the official client which is the one that is on Kongregate. I would love to let Kongregate pro users login on the beta site, but Kongregate does not support such a login feature. Moving accounts is not possible.

OMG. I just opened a new tab to play a level I made, and it had a new openeing, and I logged in, and I was WOAH!
And btw, there’s a bug in the shop with the blue twitter bird.

Generally we say one name per postcard, but if the card is homemade you can put two names on it 😉

Wow, I made a blog account JUST for this occasion. I can’t wait to see what the updates will be! Although I suggest you stick to the same font throughout the lobby, that’s the only problem I see. Other then that I love the way it looks. Very organized.
OFF TOPIC: Does anyone know what happened to the forums and when it’ll be fixed? I noticed that all Forumify websites don’t work anymore.

Cool, Chris. Good work. A few questions though; When will beta and non-beta merge?(any clue or idea whatsoever?) Will it ever be possible for players with chat to have a chat box in the lobby? And any news on the forum? Its been down for a while now :(.

hate to double post, but I noticed that in the shop, when you have an item that you spend 25 energy on, the 2 is smaller than the 5. ALso, Does anyone know why forumify isn’t working? It’s been like this for a few days now, I need to get in touch with my easter group. Also, w I don’t know who, but someone took my KingOfTheOzone username on this site, I wanted to use it because it’s my ingame username, and my forum username.
An illegal website was made, and Cyclone had some issues with that. He fears that they will try to attack forumify, so for the moment, all the accounts are suspended and he did something to stop peoples from gettin on at all. I’m guessing.

did beta get new features as well? (yet)?
To everybody that keeps mentioning the forums: in a comment on the previous blog post, RPG stated that the Cyclone has temporarily suspended Forumify due to fear of an attack.
Unfortunately for me, I’m going on vacation in a couple days which means my time is even more limited to work on and submit my level. I REALLY hope the forums are back up by Monday night or Tuesday morning, or else I won’t be able to submit my level.
I’m guessing the RPGMaster will extend some deadlines, as the forum was the main way of communication among teams. My team hasn’t gotten much work in at all because i cant seem to contact them.
If the forums stay down any longer, I will of course extend the deadlines for however long it needs to be extended.
