Back to Beta

After a lot of work and the usual few bugs, I am proud to announce that I am finally done with my December goal of brining the Free game up to date and allowing everybody to play together again.

This also means that we are now entering a new development circle on the Beta. Therefore expect a lot of updates to the Beta game over the next few weeks. My initial goal is to get back to the short term todo and get the last points crossed out. Highest priority being the brick property system so we can have coin doors and signs.

So hang in there Beta members; there will be a lot of new toys soon!

  6. There is a serious money leak in the shop. If you put all except the last bit of energy into an item, open several tabs, finish off the item in each tab, you get however many tabs there were of that item.
    P.S. Could you remove my second medium world and three of my spawn points? Because I got those this way 😛

  7. chris could you do like a contest for like the best minigame level of 2011 and the winner can design a smiley for like 40 gems and 2000 energy? i was thinking like you could have a team like 6 people and they could make the most best, fun, thrilling, entertaining minigame level ever? just givin ideas 😀

    • Oh yea that’s a real pain in the a$$ ❗ I wish instead of infanitly moveing in the same direction if connection is temporarily lost, you would just stop moving at all :.:

  20. hi, evilmuffin here. i suggest that all of the new smileys after now should have speical properties. exactly like how the ninga smilie is almost invisible. for example, if RPGMASTER2000’s superman smilie ever comes into the shop (please), it could jump four squares high instead of three. the girl smilie could leave a trail of flowers or something girly. ummm… oh! how about if there was a spy smilie that would be COMPLETELY invisible, that would be awesome. that and the superman smilie would probably be really expensive though. anyways my personal favorite new years level is the following:

  25. Chris you have to extend the expiry of the ney years 2011 special because today is the 30th, tomorrow is the 31st.
    So by today, everyone should have atleast 600-650.
    Tomorrow 800-850 (These are my own guesses.)
    So probably when i wake up tomorrow its gone.
    So its either you Buy it with gems or nothing.

    Just sayin 😉

  31. Chris, I’ve gone on Beta worlds where the owner isn’t there, and a handful of people have the code. Someone would soon be trolling, and I find it annoying. Can’t you make like a flagging system of some sort? Where someone flags, lets say a troll or a bad-mouth, and he gets like 3 flags, he gets kicked for however long? Please respond on what you think.

    Oh by the way, I posted here because I didn’t know where else to post.

    It seems that (and according to others it’s only on Windows computers) when I play on the main site, beta or free, my character seems to slide an extra distance of varying length when I move, and I cannot jump whilst sliding. This bug (if it’s a bug, and you’re not just trying to annoy people with Windows computers) doesn’t occur on Kongregate, however. I plan on testing other sites to see if the bug applies there, but please, try to correct this.

  36. Chris, i’ve found a bug 😉
    If you change the time on you’r PC you get more gems
    But you cant use them 😦

    Can you make a time in EE, so we can’t use that bug anymore?

  37. Thanks for all this.
    About the XMas decorations, I didn’t know that I can get it till the 1st in Junary, and if I knew, I would buy them.
    But I didn’t want to take a risk, so I won’t lose energy for nothing, so I spent the Xmas decorations’s energy on my ninja face instead of the Xmas.
    It will be nice to be able to have this decorations till the 4-5th of Junary or something else.
    I really want this decorations and I am so sorry for buying the ninja face, cuz I even don’t use it.
    anyways, have a good new year, and hope to hear from you.. (:

    also i have been wanting to make my world all dots or a blocks but it takes to long to fill in every single space so i would like if u could some how add a fill space with selected block. and and copy and past thing to use in the mini-map. and speaking of mini map i think u should be able to draw in it. or have a button which brings up a larger map to draw in or copy and paste. i have been hearing some comments and i like the idea of a block when u step on it it dose something like show text or move in what ever direction and a block that follows a player and if it caches them it resets them and some ramp type block that u can slide down or go up if u have enuf speed

You MUST IP-ban, or maybe even ISP-ban this guy, as well as put a disclaimer on the main Everybody Edits site stating that no one should give out their login emails or passwords AT ALL, as well as ways to get their accounts banned.

  41. Chris we still have to use Tinychat and waste a space of our room due the system or whatever. Can you find another way to make it security? I paid, but what about the other people who didn’t have VISA, Paypal or they parents doesn’t pay on the internet? THINK ABOUT IT.

  44. Hey Chris! I really love everybody edits and I think your really doing a good job, and keep up the good work! I recently bought the beta for 9.95 USD and .1 cent for the chat. Everything is working great except for 1 thing. My levels save, but when I try to change the name it doesnt work! It doesnt bother me that much, but I would really like it if it was fixed.     fix that soon
    and add "kick", "reset", and "load level" to the "modify level" drop-down (in this case, up) menu

    I want to pay with my phone 1 bolivar (1 cent), but my mom will not let me pay by credit card,only with the phone because THE CREDIT CARD IS ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES, NOT FOR GAMES, please bejanminsen i ask you for God’s sake, add the phone to pay for 1 bolivar to leave me the blessed chat 😥

A brick/smiley editor, which you can edit your smiley to some accesories that you can buy with energy or gems. sorry for english xD thats all.

      One thing for the accesories is snow-warm pack, ( i want it to be called that 😉 ) whitch comes with Snowpants/coat and hat. you should beable to put several diffrent things on from diffrent packs altogether. and shouldnt just put one thing on at a time 🙂 and could you make the shop in-game too?
      cuz the outgame is kinda anoying you haveto restart 😦

  70. Chris, there is a glitch on the Kongregate version of EE where people can not get chat because when they click the “Verify Now” button for the second time, the button disappears, but nothing happens and the game freezes. Could you please fix this?

    a pair of sun glasses to wear over ur face like a fox face ninja face and so one AND THEN the hats Santa’s new years and builders … fox ears( i call it a fox cuz it looks like a fox not like a demon XD) so the fox ears that turn skin red and gives ears and i think there should be like a custom face were it is almost like a saved world but u can add preloaded faces then edits them or parts of faces ( this is the 2nd big post that i posted for ideas would there be a beater place to post these ideas?? )

  78. hey this is very important and please take into consideration of what i am saying. so basically i will cut to the case. my friend named my beta account administrator and i was reading on a blog how you can get banned for impersonating a mod or admin. please if u can try to change my name. i worked very hard to obtain all the smilies and what not. i plead of u that u do not ban the account please. if u can change the name just change it to nico. thanks
